ConvergeOne Acquires SIGMAnet, An IT Consulting Firm And Managed Services Provider

ConvergeOne, a global  communications and data solutions provider, has acquired SIGMAnet, one of the largest IT consulting and managed services provider in California. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal solidifies ConvergeOne’s market position as a leader with one of the broadest and deepest offerings in the market.

McKenna Jr., Chairman and CEO, ConvergeOne, said in a statement: “This acquisition is an ideal addition to ConvergeOne and represents a natural progression in our ongoing strategy to develop and grow customer relationships by providing comprehensive solutions, services, and support”, and also added this: “We share SIGMAnet’s focus and commitment to deliver outcomes-based solutions for our customers. They have additional capabilities in the Cisco and EMC platforms, as well as cloud computing, security and the education vertical. This acquisition enables us to increase our presence in the western United States and advance our leadership position as a single-source provider of multivendor technologies, support, and services.”

Following the acquisition, SIGMAnet President and COO, Neil Wada, has been appointed vice president, Southwest Region for SIGMAnet, a ConvergeOne Company.
