Phlexglobal has acquired UK-based Net Solutions Europe (NSE); an established technology company with a proven track record in delivering superior software solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The two companies have been in partnership, and have been working since 2010 on the development of PhlexEview, Phlexgolbal’s market leading electronic TMF (eTMF) cloud based platform.
Peter McNaney, chief technology officer of Phlexglobal said in a statement: “As Phlexglobal’s technology partner, NSE has demonstrated a regulatory understanding of the sensitivity of the clinical documents we handle, and their expertise and experience is second to none. We also have appointed an expert eTMF product manager working as part of the newly expanded technology team, and this appointment coupled with the NSE acquisition will further ensure we are at the leading edge of eTMF technology capabilities.”
Rick Riegel, chief executive officer of Phlexglobal, said in a statement: “This acquisition allows us to fast-track the future development of PhlexEview, our cloud based eTMF platform. The resulting enhanced capabilities will provide significant additional benefits to both our software and our services clients.”
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Bucks, United Kingdom, Phlexglobal is a specialist provider and a pioneer in the provision of technology-enabled Trial Master File (TMF) solutions and services.
